SECTION 3: Policies & Disclosures

We encourage all families to carefully review the following policies and expectations before completing registration to ensure a smooth and successful experience for everyone involved.

🎭 THEATER ENVIRONMENT & PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

(i.e. 'Nature of the Craft' Disclosure)

By registering, I understand that theater is a fast-paced, collaborative group activity. To ensure the safety of the cast and the quality of the production, I acknowledge the following:

  • Instructional Style: Direction is often given in a direct, high-volume, and authoritative manner so that all students can hear and stay safe in a large, noisy room. This is professional coaching and is not intended as personal criticism.

  • The Group Setting: Students are expected to work as part of an ensemble. While we strive to be inclusive, our staff cannot provide one-on-one behavioral shadowing or individual modifications that disrupt the group's progress or safety.

  • Personal Accountability: All students are expected to receive and apply constructive feedback in front of their peers as part of the standard rehearsal process.

I understand that if my child is unable to participate safely or respectfully within this specific group dynamic, they may be asked to step away from the program.
