Set in turn-of-the century New York City, NEWSIES is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right!
Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken (THE LITTLE MERMAID, TANGLED) and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Featuring the now classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” NEWSIES is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.

General Reserved Seating | Ages 4 and Up: Seating provided on the paved forecourt; first-come first serve; available for purchase online or at the amphitheater.
Lawn Seating | All Ages: Bring your own blanket or sit directly on the lawn; no lawn chairs permitted; strollers, car seats, and wagons/tows require their own Lawn Seating ticket regardless of whether a child is in it or not; open lawn is first-come first-serve; available for purchase online or at the amphitheater.
Lap-Child | Ages 9 Months to 3 Years: Children ages 3 and under accompanying a General Reserved Seating ticket are considered lap-children and require a $5 lap-child ticket which can only be purchased at the amphitheater; lap-children are expected to remain on the lap of the ticket purchaser(s) and do not receive their own seat; available for purchase at the venue only on the day of the event.
No Outside Food or Drink: To keep ticket prices low, no outside food or beverage will be allowed in the venue and bags and containers are subject to search. Guests are welcome to bring a factory sealed water bottle. There will be concessions and drinks available for purchase. We appreciate your understanding.
