Age-appropriate training that builds a strong foundation in acting, voice, movement, and ensemble work.
Broadway Training Academy is an integrated program in acting, voice, choreography, and ensemble performance skills. Our classes help artists grow in confidence, accountability, perserverance, and collaboration - on stage and in life.
MARQUEE
AGES 12-18
Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Focused training that challenges developing performers to sharpen their skills and grow as collaborative artists.
Enrollment is intentionally limited so each artist has room for individual instruction, meaningful participation, and focused feedback.
Two age groups. One shared ensemble. Training designed for both. Spotlight meets from 4:00–5:30 PM, and Marquee meets from 5:00–6:30 PM. From 5:00–5:30 PM, both groups come together for a shared ensemble block focused on group singing, choreography, performance skills, and showcase material. The remaining class time is age-specific, allowing instruction to be tailored to the developmental level and experience of each group while still giving our Academy community time to learn and create together.

Strong performers need more than one skill - and BOTS Academy training reflects that. Students receive integrated training in acting, voice, choreography, and ensemble performance. Depending on the work being explored, classes may include script and scene work, character development, cold reads, vocal technique, storytelling through song, choreography pickup and retention, musicality, movement, memorization, and performance quality. Throughout it all, students also practice the habits that make great collaborative artists: preparation, accountability, focus, taking direction, supporting others, and contributing meaningfully to the ensemble.
WHAT WE TRAIN
The showcase is where training becomes performance. Each session concludes with an approximately 45-minute Academy Showcase for family and friends. Rather than mounting a fully staged musical, students will share a variety of work developed through their training, which may include large-group musical theatre numbers, acting pieces, choreography features, student introductions, small-group work, and selected featured performances. Everyone participates, with additional featured opportunities potentially selected later in the session as students develop their skills. The exact showcase will be shaped by the strengths, progress, and interests of each Academy group. Family and friends are invited to attend the Academy Showcase at no additional cost.

Everyone performs, and additional featured opportunities may be selected later in the semester through an audition process starting around week 6. The exact program will be shaped by our students' progress and strengths!
Focused training. Intentional class sizes. Straightforward tuition. Semester tuition is $300 for the first student, paid in four equal monthly installments of $75. Additional siblings are $240 each, paid in four equal monthly installments of $60. Enrollment is for the full session; monthly installments are simply the payment schedule rather than month-to-month enrollment. Class sizes are intentionally limited so each artist has more opportunities for meaningful participation, individual instruction, age-appropriate coaching, and focused feedback. Tuition includes all class materials, showcase participation, and a Broadway Training Academy T-shirt.
